Kenny at least comes inside. When I had my Sammy, when it snowed I could never get her to come inside. Neighbors threatened to call animal services due to abuse. uhhhhh, she’s a cold weather dog, she thrives on cold!!!!
Three successive dogs I had (a Blue Heeler, a fluffy Welsh Corgi, and an Australian Shepherd) were all very furry and loved to sit outside in the snow, and even on solid ice on the front porch. They were in no hurry to come in either.
I have a lab mix and she loves to play outside in the snow. Around here after a snow it usually clears off and get sunny and really cold the next door. She loves to go outside and lay in the snow in the sun. I go out to get her to come inside and her fur is hot to the touch and she is panting. I always figure some passerby is going to animal control one day.
