Forget about the hazmat suit I mentioned yesterday. Get a hazmat team to sanitize the entire house.
Follow the tracks…..you will find them.
They’re like your mind Calvin: YOU LOST THEM!
I can just imagine his parents’ dropped jaws and angered faces when they see the trail of mud in the house.
Well at least they have IKEA-style directions in their house now.
Looks like he tracked in yesterday’s EWWWWWWW.
You should be able to find them the last place you look so look there 1st
This is why so many families don’t allow shoes in the house
Origin of that rather helpless feeling – “Reboot”!
At least he’s going to find out where Dad’s belt is.
Yep. He’s six.
I love the way Mr. Watterson drew the mud splooches.
Where was the last place you saw them? Why! On my feet………
He changes dirty shoes by going out!! Inside he is wearing the dirty ones!!
After entering the mud field yesterday, those boots are probably still in the mud field. That’s what always happened to mine at Calvin’s age.
On your feet under the mud.
Listen for Mom’s shriek first, then just wait. After you’ve spent a year in your room, she will super glue them to your feet.
Boots me
Maybe the boots were made for walking and they just walked on out of there, Calvin!
Calvin’s sense of orderly is just a tad off.
Hey, not problem with the muddy foot prints. Just do what I do. Let them dry for a day or so and them vacuum them up. Easy peasy. Japanesey.
Calvin’s version of “Family Circus.”
Too late
It always happens AFTER you mop the floor.
They got sucked off in the mud hole…
I keep a shoe/boot tray by the back door.
this is not going to end well
Sure does have a lot of mud on his shoes…
Unfortunately, most small, modern houses no longer have the traditional “mud room” for boots.
He’s about to get one up his posterior when Mom finds out.
It is for this reason, among others, that I never want to live in a dwelling that has any carpeting anywhere…
If they live in snow country they should have a mudroom and the boots should be there.
He’s been hanging out with Pig-Pen again
Not another Zoom funeral!
I wear my shoes into the house and take them off in my bedroom. Unless it’s wet/muddy/snowy, then I leave them by the door outside.
You know what weirds me out is how in tv and movies you see people lounging on their beds with their shoes on. Who does that in real life?
This must have been a cut scene from the movie “Das Boot”.
When someone in your household is forced to get around in a power wheelchair, it’s like having a carpeted garage.
I have no idea. 10/10
The general plan is to put boots on before you go out, Calvin.
The boots you wear so you won’t track mud into the house? Keep looking.
This is ironic: Calvin tracks mud thru the house and asks where his boots are.
