Drabble by Kevin Fagan for January 16, 2022

That’s my kitty Lily. I think there must be 3 or 4 of her around here. I go to the kitchen and there she is jumping on the counter top and looking in the fridge when I open the door. I go to the bathroom and there she is following me in there, jumping up on the counter to watch me brush my teeth. I go to the living room and sit down to read and there she is jumping into my lap.

my 2 little guys (a dachshund named Limo & a Dorky named Frankie) go everywhere with me too! If they aren’t there by my feet I immediately wonder what they’re up to :-)

Anyplace you can go, Wally can get there faster.

He loves you!

Dogs are people too! We have three lucky people in our house: Lucky, Nancy, and JimBob.

I have one dog and she is always under my feet. I wouldn’t have it any other way.

How is that a BAD thing?

Whether Ralph realizes it or not, Wally is a one-person dog and is acting like it. My mini dachshund does the same to me – follows me from one room to another. She always wants to be where I am.

I had a cat like that. It was a little unnerving at first to turn around and see him when I just saw him in another room.

That’s exactly what Wally is thinking about you Ralph.

Our dogs follow my wife around like this.

My house is 40 years old and often I wonder about all the dogs and cats that have called it home over the years.

That sounds like a wonderful house!

Well, hey, there’s a Ralph in every room, too… ☺

its nice, sometimes, to have a dog that follow you around, but not always (name of my dog here ((((charlie)))) )

Yes and Yes……

Ralph’s powers of observation are not the most desirable. Maybe, Ralph, and Barney could be detectives in the Mayberry Sheriff’s Office.

He knows Ralph is prone to dropping food.

Wally is Ralph’s shadow?

I have two cats and have thought the same thing! Every room I go into there’s a cat. Even if I see them both asleep soundly, I get up and walk into another room and there one sits like it was always there.
