How much longer will Armstrong be mayor? Don’t they have term limits in that town? Maybe she’s going to tell Tracy she’s retiring?

The Ace of Spades is still out there however I doubt those who they nabbed know his whereabouts.

It would behoove Ace and Double Up to move to the outskirts of town….the heat is on.

Whatever Mayor Armstrong wants to discuss with Tracy….hopefully it won’t involve another writer.

In panel 3, does the Chief have some favorite sheet music framed? Maybe for “Oh Danny Boy”?

Shelley’s Dick Tracy looks formidable and strong.

2-CHIEF: Not that long ago you noticed a secret room where that moon chick and the cartoonist were hidden. Before that, you got the drop on the Ten Of Spades – albeit after he had shot who we really wanted – Abra Kadabra. But now you’ve really embarrassed the department. I’m afraid I can’t give you a good Performance Review this year nor a raise.

3-DT: Ain’t that just typical of management! It’s all “what have you done for me lately?” All I can say is that like the stock market, my past performance is not indicative of future performance.

I’m waiting for further reveals of the rest of the “board of directors” that we have seen in earlier strips…

Tracy is looking very good in panel 3—The fine linework of Shelley’s art pays off here. He sound good, too. I just hope this latest run-in with arch-nemesis Mayor Armstrong doesn’t end up in a serious setback for the MCU as it enjoys some success and a bunch of good PR. Her “discussions” with Tracy too often end up in some dangerous and difficult assignment for him….
