Once again Ms. Benson joins her republigoon fellow cult members. Never mind the fact that this mess started in the reign of the very first American dictator, the fuhrer, Herr Trump. Those are the facts and Ms.Benson doesn’t like facts. They get in the way of the republigoon agenda. Goodnight and Good luck.

Loony Lisa still doesn’t understand that inflation is a global problem due to supply and demand from Covid shutdowns.

Hey all you useful idiots. Quit talking about Trump. Your guy is in charge, and we have the highest inflation in 30 years, the biggest embarrassment in the way we withdrew from Afghanistan, sky rocketing crime, crisis at the southern border, highest gas prices in 10 years. Face it, there is a reason Joe is at a record low of 38% approval, and Kamala is worse, at 28% approval. #FJB!

When Biden took office inflation was low at 1.4% even though the pandemic had already been going on for a year. After he took office however, inflation then increased to 6.2% & rising inside of 9 months. So…this inflation is not due to Biden’s ineptitude but the previous Republican is somehow responsible for yet another of Biden’s failures?

Is there high inflation? Yes.Is it likely to negatively impact people’s lives? YesDoes the cartoon say it is Biden’s fault? No.

It seems that most of the responses are people being defensive because you believe that things are getting worse and it is the Democrats’ fault.

How does falsely assigning blame to an individual or political party — in a single nation —solve a worldwide problem?

This problem could have been averted if worker safety had been made a high priority worldwide using the most current medical precautions and quelling the misinformation and panic. Instead, borders started closing between nations … as though one could isolate their nation from the global pandemic by attempting that. Now with a reduced labor force participation rate, we have inflation.

The average annual unemployment rate in 2020 was 8.1%, lower than the annual averages during the Great Recession in 2009 (9.3%), 2010 (9.6%), and 2011 (8.9%).However, the labor force participation rate, or the percentage of the working-age population that is either employed or seeking work, fell to 61.7%, the lowest since 1976.

Lisa tries so hard to blame Joe for everything. Makes for cute cartoons but this “inflation” Lisa is right up your alley, “free enterprise” and charge what the market will bear.. republican mantra.

Since inflation seems to coincide with lack of supply, then mightn’t the lack of items lead to increased price at the checkout? And, in like manner, when supply gets back to normal, mightn’t prices likewise drop to normal?

Lisa’s mathematical incompetence is profound. A six month stretch of inflation running 3% above “normal” has only minimal effects. That bear won’t be eating the whole meal. Maybe it gets two scoops of ice cream on the post-dinner pie when everybody else just gets one scoop. Which is a mild annoyance, not a tragedy.

Note the hyper defensive left wingers defending Biden when Lisa didn’t mention him. Since everyone is pointing fingers at whatever political entity they don’t like I’ll give my opinion as to who is the real front line culprit… China. If it wasn’t for the Chinese Communist Party unleashing the Wuhan virus and causing a world wide pandemic, we wouldn’t be in this state.

I was listening to a report this morning about food prices. Most have gone up according to inflation (which right now is running a little over 6%, the highest it’s been in 29 years). But turkey has gone up 25%, so we can’t blame inflation for that. The report was pinning it mostly on supply chain issues, but I’m sure the drought had a lot to do with it too. Feed prices went way up due to crop losses, which of course will make itself known in higher prices for meat.

Sorry folks, the prices have gone up because they can. You want Joe to REGULATE THEM? Or tell companies what to charge? Maybe he should tweet out that people should stop buying from the ones he doesn’t like. Capitalism my friends. It’s what’s for (your extra expensive) dinner.

Couldn’t have said it better…President Biden’s African travel ban went into effect Monday. Biden’s actions here directly contradict what he said when former President Donald Trump instituted similar travel bans to stop the spread of the coronavirus. In fact, they lay bare an underlying insincerity about Biden’s entire handling of the pandemic. When Trump did this exact same thing, Biden stoked the flames of racial hatred to get elected. Now, nearly a full year into his first term, Biden is the dog that caught the car. He duped 81 million people into voting for him and he has no clue what he is doing. Biden voters owe the country an apology. They are responsible for our current mess. And every bit the mess that the approval ratings suggest it is. From foreign policy, to immigration, to crime, to inflation, to gas prices, there is absolutely nothing going better today than on Jan. 19, 2020.And incredibly, despite the vaccinations that were developed rapidly under Trump, Biden cannot even claim to have made progress with the pandemic.Portrayed as a unifier on the campaign, Biden is as divisive as his predecessor, if not more so. It’s one thing to honestly believe that Trump’s travel bans were discriminating based on race. It is another to deceive the public by demonizing and criticizing Trump as a racist, only to turn around and do exactly the same thing. Many cited Trump’s pandemic actions as a reason they voted for Biden, who campaigned on “having a plan” to tackle the coronavirus pandemic. But more Americans have died from COVID-19 under Biden than under Trump, even with Biden having the benefit of hindsight that Trump lacked in early 2020.It’s not that Biden did anything particularly wrong that led to an excess number of deaths. It’s just that his criticism of Trump was always hollow political theater. He never had a plan to do better — he just lied about that part. So if you are unhappy with the death toll during 2021, blame Biden voters for being suckers.

Gas prices under Biden have skyrocketed. This is partly due to Biden’s energy strategy of making the U.S. more reliant on foreign oil and less energy-independent. Even now, Biden continues to heap greater financial burdens upon the companies that wish to drill on federal land, which again translates to that much less oil exploration and that much higher prices. Blame the Biden voter.Consider inflation. After a long run-up in median household income under Trump, Biden’s inflation has negated those gains. And although it is unfair to lay the blame for inflation solely on Biden, his decisions have contributed to it, and he is advocating a spending package that would make it even worse. Several high-profile Obama economic advisers have lambasted Biden for his decision-making and the resulting inflation. Some of these even advised Biden during his campaign — now they warn that his policies will result in “the highest inflation in more than half a century.” Again, if you’re unhappy with this, blame the Biden voter.Biden already had a long track record of screw-ups and of dishonesty — his plagiarism is just one manifestation of this. But a lot of people chose to vote for him anyway. They were hoodwinked by his false promises. The road to recovery begins with apologies to those you have wronged, and Biden voters owe the country an apology. - Christopher Tremoglie, Washington Examiner

The rush of the “return to normal” with the mfg’ing practices of holding up JUT created a shortage. Gives MFG’s excuse to raise prices (which will need a crowbar to get back down now that they are up), but this is not inflationary architecture. As of now, the “inflation” bit is basically a scare tactic, and a way to convince consumers they need to pay more for stuff for higher profits. (And don’t forget to deduct the “normal” inflation rate from the current one. Those rich hosers can’t make money fast enough.)
