Again Gorrell and the GOP are complaining about a problem they themselves caused. The economy is still bad because Covid is still around, and Covid is still around because the GOP continues to spread doubt about the vaccine and mask wearing.

Those with the lowest incomes have been stretching their dollars for decades. Even more over the last decade as republicans will not allow a minimum wage increase.

But if the dollar is inflated, does that mean it is worth more?

I’m thinking that all the left wingers posting here are of the wealthy upper class. Because I know a whole lot of people who are struggling to get by. Yeah the average pay increase is up a bit over 4% but the cost of living is up over 20%. As Heinlein said it’s never the rich who suffer in bad economic times, it always the guy living pay check to paycheck who has to tighten his belt a notch. Not a direct quote but the Meaning is clear.
