The blindfold is intended to show that she doesn’t know WHO is before her, just WHAT their arguments are. Alas, the judge was completely aware of WHO and cared little for WHAT.

A law professor at the University of Wisconsin explained why he anticipated an acquittal in this article published the day before the verdict was rendered:

    https://madison.com/wsj/opinion/column/analysis-heres-why-kyle-rittenhouse-is-likely-to-be-acquitted-and-why-the-law-on/article_f1e4edf4-6fd2-5004-ae14-d45b009ab5a9.html

In brief, he says that the law on justifiable homicide in Wisconsin includes a “self-defense” exception big enuf to drive a semi thru. He says that any exoneration is tied not to a stupid jury, a corrupt judge, an incompetent prosecutor, or a misunderstanding of the facts but rather to the way the law is written. It’s basically a “get out of jail free” card for anyone who wants to claim “I feared for my life.”

As blind as an Eagle. I’m certain that people are only pissed about the verdict because it means that people now know that they can defend themselves from rioters.

The jury got it right under Wisconsin law . . . It’s ridiculous, however, to put the burden on the prosecution to prove beyond a reasonable doubt that the defendant did NOT act in self defense. Plus if the weapons charge hadn’t been dropped Rittenhouse would have had no self-defense defense

Yes, she is. Be grateful she is. Be grateful she ignored the trial and conviction in the MSM that occurred long before the witnesses and evidence were presented to an impartial jury who followed the law instead of listening to the terrorist chanting outside the courthouse as they deliberated.
