Just got back from my 2nd adult run away weekend. I went to a concert – booked a motel for the weekend and just chilled and didn’t worry about anything. Of course having an adult “child” who can pretty much take care of herself (except drive), helps. :o)

I ran away from home several times. Went to barn where there were horses and ponies and dogs and cats and…. things that didn’t hurt.

I ran away and joined the military . . . best thing I ever did. I was 22 at the time.
Some of my family never forgave me, because the “boundary” was something they couldn’t breach—and they couldn’t even complain to friends about it!
