Now that’s what I call feeling the burn.

Man was this week a frozen fest

Garfield is making as deep a depression in the couch as Jon is.

Diets are EVIL, depends on who it works for and HOW MUCH, you have to work to achieve it.

Over the holidays we searched the cable for “Yule Log fireplace videos” — last year Hallmark had puppies and kittens scampering about, but this year we could only find one show on a different channel that had a dog who only wagged its tail once in front of the blazing hearth.

I never knews Jon had a fireplace.

Burning books has never been a good thing. But then again, they are Diet books. Nice fire.

Ahhhh… watching old exercise videos by the light of burning exercise books in the fireplace. Richard Simmons’s “Flounce Your Way to Fitness” is an especial fave for some. You know who you are and not that there’s anything wrong with that.

Obviously he’s not a big fan of Dr. Phil.

Another year’s New Year’s resolutions shot to hell.

Along with, political pamphlets, fashion magazines, “get rich” books, and anything else in print trying to tell us how sad and miserable are lives are, despite all evidence to the contrary.

It’s nice to know that diet books finally have a practical use. And thus ends another Diet Week. It’s good to see a consistent trend of Garfield strips, of only for a week.

Burning diet books in the fire? Have Garfield and Jon been watching “Fahrenheit 451”?

Just don’t let your socks catch on fire. Again.

They should also burn that ugly green lamp.

Thats just a waste of our natural resources. Put them in the recycle bin where they will do some good instead……

Jon doesn’t need to diet. Garfield either, mainly because of cartoon physics. Fat and bloated one day, back to normal the next day or at the beginning of a new story arc.

Thus ends diet week.

He waited until the 8th to burn this one? I’m impressed.

Garfield really hates diets. So of course he’d burn diet books.

Rice cakes and boxes of Special K burn pretty well, too.
