Lady in blue is thinking “Unless it’s rotten, since when does salad smell??”

Must be the salad dressing.

If you can smell the salad you probably shouldn’t eat it.

Salad appeals more to the eye than the nose. Baked dishes appeal to the nose. A burger hot off the grill appeals to everything.

If a book is food for thought then what you see on social media is junk food.

I hate salad. I strongly dislike the vast majority of vegetables. Mixed, they become worse. i eat salad because my wife guilts me into it. I use many ounces of Walmart sweet French dressing on it to make it slightly palatable. Say ‘YES’ to the burger.

Salad with a dressing do emit a scent, sometimes a very tasty nose tickler. Probably why they were originally added.
