For God’s sake, give her the driving lessons before she kills somebody, or herself and her passengers! Reckless driving isn’t funny.

I’m trying hard here but I really don’t like Joe’s mother.

“Joe’s Christmas gift”? For whom? If one wishes to speak with clarity, one should phrase it as, “It’s a Christmas gift for Joe.”

Sounds like your failure to me, Mom.

I’ve never found her to be unwilling to insult. She thinks it her duty of correct all, even though she is far from perfect in the driving area. But, she evidently feels that it’s up to others to watch out for where she is.

Careful. My sister decided to move our 92 yo mother in with her and is complaining loudly. My 73 yo brother just walked out on a 46 yr marriage. I had to rise above the urge to send “Eldercare 4 Dummies” and “Making Marriage Work 4 Dummies” to them for Christmas.

Driving lessons it is!

From each according to his ability, to each according to his need.

Remove the SEXIST language and it is hard to argue with. Good old Karl, no matter how many die trying futiley to make his theories work.

I remember when I was working at the local paper. A former teacher from my high school started working there, and all was well for a while. But she decided to go back to teaching when she learned about how kids were using text more than proper English.

She did have a driving lesson. But the instructor was so terrified that 1st day that he passed her just so she wouldn’t come back.

Do it, Joe. Do it.

This is shaping up to be one very interesting Christmas gift exchange.

Don’t give driving lessons. Give her gift certificates for Uber. And take away her keys!
