His teacher has a wicked sense of humour

It’s been a waste of money.

He needs more lessons.

I suspect he is following specific instructions from his teacher.

At least it is friendly for his environment

After his first lesson, the teacher suggested a slightly different approach. Must have some lip on him.

Best to all from our home and our hearts.

Some learn more some less, son!

“Money well spent. You should hear how good he is when he faces the other way!!”

How about some lessons for the teacher.

Is This what they mean when they say blow it out the other end?

He has yet to complete lesson one: “Blow in this end.”

If he inhales really deeply will it make a sound?

“taking” or “faking”?

My son plays the trumpet. Now he’s good at it. Those first couple of years … not so much.

I don’t think Miles started out this way

Blowing in reverse, I’d think he’d have very powerful lungs by now…

He sucks.. and is darn good at it.

Make sure to disinfect it after each session.

But he failed the lessons miserably…

Al Hirt he’s not.

Took customer assistance and he used a lesson to open the delivered box and find it. As for finding it maybe he can’t be faulted too much. It came in an oversized AMZN box with reams of packing paper.

He can play “Bum of the flightful bee”

Even though Jim Unger’s comics are old, they’re still funny! And there are probably lots of his comics people haven’t seen yet. I know I haven’t.

He’s a pretty slow learner.

Gabriel’s job appears safe.

time for a tuba

I had two years of trumpet lessons in junior high school, while wearing braces. Maybe if I had tried playing this way I would not have had callouses on the inside of my lips.

If he manages to get any sound that way, take his mouthpiece and blow across the end that goes in the horn as if you were tooting a bottle. }:^D>

So much for “blowing his own horn.”

Maybe he can blow it out of his a**.
