No, Biden’s immigration policy is just as bad. But at least there are plenty of other areas where Biden’s administration is still way better.

Not an excuse for his immigration policy, but a reality check that as bad as Democrats sometimes are, Republicans always manage to be worse.

When you lose self-respect and create a delusional, unrealistic, alternate reality where not everyone is equal, it’s easy to lose respect for others and be inhumane.

—) In a perverse but pragmatic socio-political alignment, a majority of those within the influx of southern-border migrants might openly pledge themselves to the “Q” Movement. That might endear them to many on the Far Right, who seem adverse to normal logic, anyway. And Republicans are a Big Tent party, correct? (Kevin McCarthy proudly claims so.)

It might also help push back the dangerous entry of the narco-saint religion that centers around Santa Muerte and others in a strange hagiography embraced by desperate people in poor countries with corrupt governments.

Of course, we here are a rich country with numerous corrupt state governments, and many seem desperate to expand it in that direction. So the merger of the two movements would be advantageous to both.

Rumor thatijustmadeup has it that Donald Trump is willing to lend his support if Santa Muerte is relegated to a secondary position, he being Saint something or other distinctly masculine.

(By the way, I have often wondered if there are a clueless gang of misfits led by a character who calls himself “B.” Is there then a “B” Movement?)

(In case you wonder, in this Comment I am purposely trying to out-Rall Rall.)

The trump remain in Mexico policy works. It is not cruel. The 2 months of “zero tolerance” was a blunder and was thankfully stopped.

Biden’s failure to change immigration enforcement policies has been the biggest disappointment of his administration so far. He doesn’t need Congress to act to do this, he just needs the will to do it.

Let’s not forget the people in power in those ess-hole countries that makes people want to leave so bad. Don’t Mexico and the lower countries have resources, and why can’t they put their people to work at living wages ?  Seems to me that Venezuela had a good economy before bad government put that place into a bind. Go there and be kidnapped for ransom. I have seen products with “Made in Mexico” on them that are car parts. I think we are at least trying to help by providing jobs.

If I am wrong I have only mainstream media to be duped by.

If the Dems do all of the things that the Repubs want, then why do the Repubs oppose them? Bill Clinton gave Newt everything he wanted, yet they had to try to impeach him. And HRC has always been further to the right than Bill.

So sick of libertarians pretending to want things that the Dems want as far as social rights are concerned while they worry more about their taxes. Looking at you too Maher.

Amazing what little effort is required for Dems to be as backwards and stupid as Republicans. A logical result of what is called the great 2-partysystem. When forced to say we choose between stupid or ignorant, I’m not always certain whether I’m describing the political parties – or American voters.
