The Q-publicans do not want that “unum” to apply to the United States.

Sunny gun. I actually agree w/ Ol’ Al today. Though I expect that he’s got a different opinion than mine about who / what is responsible.

Does anyone here know Latin? I’m wondering if the phrase should be something more like, “E unis pluribum”.

Thanks for YOUR ongoing contributions to the divisions, Al!

And please keep on with your ongoing efforts to destroy democracy in America.

    .

    Stop the steal!, right Al?

Obstruction, procrastination, and resistance to collaboration/compromise/consensus pay a heavy toll and weaken our foundation.

Then maybe the GOP should stop playing party over country for the first time in the last 20 years.

    The party of NO…GOP

    The party of Sir-Lies-A- Lot

    Sir-Lies-A-Lots rowdy misleading rallies

    Tea Party-John Birch know-it-alls

Qanon- classless looney loudmouths know nothing nuts

Someone didn’t take Latin. The cases switch to “Ex uno, pluri”. Ex takes the ablative, pluri the nominative. as the Roman Soldier (John Cleese) says in “The Life of Brian”

The Republican Party has made wedge issues the centerpiece of its electoral, fund-raising, and political strategy. This toxicity dates to Nixon, was exacerbated in the 90s by Newt Gingrich, and reached its apex in Trump who never made even a pretense at trying to unite the country. Now divisive poison is the steady output of the GOP, valuing power over the good of the nation.

To those who object to this historically provable analysis, I ask you to look at who is openly speaking about the prospect and even desirability of a civil war.

All going according to plan, Newt’s Contract on America. In a recent interview he said he was proud of the dissension and division the repugs have caused.

Methinks I hear the voice of John Cleese bellowing corrections until the correct “Ex uno plura” results to festoon the walls.

And the caricature is as bad as the Latin. The obverse of what milled-edge white-metal US coin depicts a bearded head? And what’s with (((that nose)))?

Certainly a case where Goodwyn should examine all he has done to promote dissension and distrust in America!

We now have the LGBQ+ claiming they are afraid, angry, and scared of anyone who is a “cisgender” getting near them. Civil rights used to be about treating everyone the same. But today some people are so used to special treatment that equal treatment is considered to be discrimination.
