Who else wants tRump to testify under oath for 11 hours on live television and explain why the National Guard wasn’t deployed on January 6?
Not only is it indicative of a consciousness of guilt, it constitutes obstruction of justice on tRump’s part. He is invoking “executive privilege” as his justification, despite the fact that he isn’t an “executive” and doesn’t have any such power. What’s more, even the President can’t invoke executive privilege to cover up the commission of crime.
And why haven’t Bannon, Meadows, Patel and Scavino been arrested yet.
Criminal contempt citations, civil contempt citations and the use of Congress’s own inherent contempt powers. Not just some of those powers—all of them. If they don’t act here, and act with merciless dispatch, there will never in any imaginable reality be another opportunity. The repugs have shown they have no interest in the rule of law when it is applied to their own.
The various flagpoles used to carry the American flag during the January sixth insurrection were used as bludgeons against the capitol police and were, in fact quite often bloodied, and, one may assume, that the flags were ALSO bloodied with police blood, so the cartoon, while exaggerated is essentially accurate.
The GOP’ers in Congress who tried to stop the certification of the election are just as culpable as tRumps terrorists were. They should all be in jail.

You had better pledge allegiance to our flag, or you will be lynched by God-fearing Americans.
