That does seem to be what they’re aiming to do. Yet another thing to point out when the various common taters here at GC try to say that both parties are basically the same.
A sharp taper reamer and heavy-duty lube oil will smooth out the ragged chatter marks made by dull drills so far. Then see how pretty the holes look — but they’re still HOLES.
If you can elections fairly — even with gerrymandering and restricting access — then why not question their integrity? Voter repression is an ugly thing … too bad that they feel incapable of change to be more inclusive.
Spot on cartoon. Republicans have ample reasons to undermine public confidence in elections and suppress turnout, but none of them are constructive or will result in a stronger political system.
The Conservative reasoning seems to be thus; We should have won. Results show we didn’t win. Therefore, the results must be wrong. If the results must be wrong, then the system must be flawed. If the system is flawed, then we must have won. Therefore, we will adjust the system to provide results that meet our expectations.
Speaking of “can’t stand scrutiny”, MB, why is the former guy so determined no one shall see his tax returns and White House papers, or question any of his associates under oath?
Does anyone else find it interesting that the regurgitation finds investing in infrastructure too expensive, but have no such quibbles when puersing nonexsistent votor fraud?
Countless attempts to end Social Security, countless efforts to take away Medicare. Countless investigations of Clintons. Benghazi, Benghazi, Benghazi. A myriad of time and money to repeal Roe v. Wade. Over 70 legal tries to defeat the ACA (Obamacare). How many tRump election audits trying to save a failure?
We are, as a Nation, very fortunate that Republican/conservatives fail at governing so completely. I pray that continues.

Republicans are liars. Biden has won the election over and over thanks to fraudits.
