Ah, yes. We had those. Called Jarts. Need to check my parents attic to see if they got rid of them or not…maybe lend them to some of the annoying college student neighbors.

Like that’ll get a glowing revue.

It’s hard to believe that my Gilbert chemistry set included powdered magnesium and the makings for black powder. Yet somehow we survived. Well, most of us.

We played with those “lawn darts” in the 70’s. The later ones were made with a heavy blunt end which was not that much safer. It is now illegal in Canada to sell any of those.

LOL! I don’t know….back in the day we all survived riding bikes with no helmets and knee pads, played with lawn darts, had cap guns, playing cowboys and Indians, etc etc….

Looks like Rory’s been rooting around the back of the barn again.

Got a set in the basement. Great toy. Very Darwinian.
