Phoebe saying that it made no sense is funny, cause Marigold’s expression at the end of yesterday’s strip?

Looked like a Unicorn who saw an M Night Shyamalan movie.

They’re MAGICAL UNICORNS! How come they didn’t just make her go “POOF!” and appear elsewhere?

Is that really Phoebe—or Dennis the Menace in disguise??

Now you know why they really give out awards!

Marigold seems to understand the attempt.

Do Unicorns have those big comedy hooks to pull people off-panel? Why do I ask? No reason.

I’d thought that might be why they were giving it to her.

You know, that also means that if they give the award away that freely to someone who clearly shouldn’t be applicable (and wasn’t even nominated to boot), just to quiet her, means these unicorns probably don’t take the award that seriously to begin with…and maybe neither shouldn’t Marigold and Phoebe—it’s ultimately an overrated prize.

In panel 2 Phoebe looks like her name should be Karen.

You know, I JUST remembered that a few weeks ago, when Phoebe had her “mute” powers, Dakota had said something to her, and Phoebe had to disguise herself to try to figure it out. When she figured it was no big deal, the strip ended with a look of either confusion or concern from Dakota. What happened with that?

Phoebe was just trying to help you with doing an awards show, Mister. Just accept her help and move on!

The squeaky wheel gets the grease. Yes, awards often go to squeaky wheels. More often they go to friends. It’s who you know, not what you know.

Here’s hoping the award is given for the reasons stated above (irony, etc.). Appeasement doesn’t have a good track record, history-wise.

Next it will be revealed that the award went to Phoebe by mistake and it really should have gone to Moonlight (Shimmer).

Next year the award is renamed the Phoebe Howell (or Phoebe the Human) award.

The squeaky wheel … gets a job in Marketing.

I knew it! Five days ago I said Phoebe was going to win.

Phoebe is a unicorn at heart, so she is eligible.

Dunno. Smart move, though, I guess.
