Join the Planetary Society. It is one of the things you can do to hopefully avoid this fromhappening.
If only they had activated to J. Space Lasers.
But this way we can live in fear and anticipation while we can ALMOST finish the defense system before it gets here!
Looks like a giant magnifying glass – use the sun and aim it at the asteroid, maybe?
That’s gonna leave a mark! :)
Of course, without being able to detect that asteroid people wouldn’t want to spend money on an expensive system to defend from it…
