I like the movie trailers. They give me time to get more popcorn before the movie starts. ..and use the bathroom. ..and take out a home loan. ..and get a good night sleep. Sheesh!

I think movie trailers are made with a blender these days or the electronic equivalent. chop,chop,chop,chop,chop,chop…yeah, I really got a sense of what the movie was about. Not.

From the sequel to “The Graduate”.

I’ve been disappointed and disgusted with some movies when I’ve gone to see them. The only good part of the movie was in the trailer and about as long. The rest of the movie was garbage and didn’t explain what was seen in the trailer.

Before Rotten Tomatoes, Bill got me on a number of occasions.

Of course, he’d have an extra-wide Cinemascope grave.

Meanwhile Elayne, is arranging to have " <—-I’m with stupid" carved above her name.

I want to commend all the commenters so far for NOT blaming Trump for something.

I thought that was in reference to trailer houses…

This reminds me of one of the best 5 minutes of silent film I ever saw: the first 5 minutes of the Pixar animated movie UP, which was in a way a kind of trailer for the rest of the movie. It showed how the curmudgeonly old protagonist was once an energetic young man who lived a long, happy time with the love of his life until she passed away. You wouldn’t expect something that short to be as emotionally devastating as it was, but it set the tone for the rest of the movie. Your heart was totally with old Carl (voiced by the late Ed Asner) the entire rest of the way.

I’ve heard two different versions of what was supposed to be on the gravestone of W C Fields:

“I rather be here than in Philadelphia”

and

“All things considered, I’d rather be in Philadelphia”

All that to look forward to, Elayne.

Could someone explain this one please. I don’t really understand what it means.
