If you haven’t swallowed it, then you haven’t actually “eaten” it.

I’d be looking for a new doctor.

I think that doctor needs to try that diet.

HEY….that’s the diet I’m on……sometimes I turn the lettuce to break the monotony.

Makes sense.. the pleasure is in the ambience and taste. Fine dining could last so much longer if only they had a little bucket under the table you could spit in.

Hmmm. I wonder if I can do that with pizza – enjoy the flavor, but not swallow.

Doesn’t the definition of eating include swallowing? Or is the Dr. implying that chewing and eating are identical actions.

My wife, who suffered from ALS, was on this “diet” for a couple of years.

Food doesn’t make you fat. How much food you eat that makes you fat. Eat drink and be merry for tomorrow you diet.

I don’t want to be “that guy” but this is the “chew and spit” eating disorder.
