Booster shots…. Stay alive and away from the stupid ones. I have the flu shot and booster is scheduled.

What about the rest of the world? If I consider my cholesterol and severe allergies, and age in the low mid-sixties after my next birthday, I could justify a booster shot, but WHAT ABOUT THE 90+% of the world who hasn’t yet had their first dose!? I think the antivaccers need to sign a release consciously allowing their doses to be sent to Africa and South America.

What a shame that when I first looked at this all I could see was sarcasm. It took me a minute to actually register the genuine good news that is being celebrated here.

We can solve our problems. And we can help others solve theirs as well. Have hope friends, don’t despair.

People sick with the delta variant of COVID-19 have 1000 times the viral load of the original quite lethal virus.

The original version was frightening in how quickly it overwhelmed the body’s defenses. And many of those who died were indeed at risk because of various factors, like obesity, which meant they had material for the virus to feast upon. With 1000 times the viral load, even those not suffering from other co-morbidities are likely to have their natural defenses overwhelmed — unless they have had the vaccine(s) which prepare your body for the battle. And the fact that the vaccinated get COVID-19 and LIVE is ignored by the anti-vax crowd. But those not vaccinated are the vast majority of those dying NOW.

So get the vaccine and let COVID kill the ones who will not listen. And wear your masks, because it won’t be over soon. And get the booster shots, the delta virus isn’t going away soon, thanks to the anti-vax crowds.

The unspoken sadness here is that, if everyone eligible for the 2 initial vaccines had all gone out and gotten them, we probably would have tamped COVID down to the point where nobody would even have needed a booster shot, because nobody would’ve been walking around spreading it.

They’re scientists: they’ve studied this stuff & done hundreds of hours of research … huNdreds of field trials,,,WHAT DO THEY KNOW ABOUT IT? Also, I won’t fly an airline that doesn’t train their pilots that THE WORLD is FLAT! Also, I go to a car mechanic who doesn’t know a spark plug but HIS METHOD IS FAITH/ SCRIPTURE BASED!!!

My wife (78) and I (80) just got our boosters plus flu shots, All of our local pharmacies provide them to walk-ins.

But only for the Pfizer vaccine at this time.

I’m waiting on Modera’s booster.

Gettin’mine tomorrow,can’t wait!
