Ol’ Al has a point here. Not as serious as he’s drawn it, imo, but it’s true that the coalition of agendas subsumed under “Democrat” has always been difficult. The REAL problem, though, is that exactly two of the 50 in the Senate are shills.

Actually, the car has stopped just shy of the sign post and the occupants are having a serious discussion abouout which path to take. However, things are always different in the Alternate Universe. Goodwyn’s Law™. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NrVLZwwZF6g

So the GQP is the better choice because they have purged any and all dissent from their party and slavishly do whatever the orange turd tells them to do. Riiight.

Say what you want about the republicans, but at least they’ve agreed on which evil to get behind.

Using the car is kind of lame, it’s more like a Train Wreck!

What’s worse is the GOP with the Tea Party, Qanon, right wing nuts, old codgers who need to retire, and MItch, who keeps lapping at rumps feet..

We need term limits! Turn 75 and you’re gone!

No country needs 88 year olds making laws and policy for this troubled country.

—) Don’t underestimate the Democrat-mobile. At the last second it will split in two, but eventually come back together to further confound its critics — and even Democrats themselves. See this YouTube clip from “Candid Camera”:

With the Republicans, maybe the roads could be labeled “Trump supporters, and Moderates.” Unfortunately, there aren’t that many Republican moderates—at least not that many who are brave enough to speak out.

Al is correct. Threading the needle between the Progressive and Moderate wings of Democrats is going to be very tricky. Unlike trump-republicans, who are nothing but servants to the ego of their master, Democrats are a big tent, trying to sincerely improve the lives of their constituents.

These Democrat public servants will ultimately reach a compromise, and President Biden will be behind the scenes instrumental in that success. After all, to not succeed would be tantamount to political suicide going into 2022.

Not a good representation. Next time, Mr. Goodwyn, I suggest you have a road sign labelled “Progress”. And then you should have a steel pole in the middle of the road labelled “Sinema, Manchin, and McConnell”. You’re welcome.

In the meantime the Republican party is in so much disorder that if they weren’t so destructive to America it would be funny.
