Isn’t it always a good time?

Snow has quite the beautiful family!

Poor little kittens, but so lucky to have loving parents to comfort them. (Does Mrs. Snow have a name?)

My family could use a few prayers if you will – today, my husband is laying his Mother to rest; I can’t be there, as I am recovering from surgery and I hate leaving him to face this on his own. On my side, one of my sweet Aunts passed away yesterday; I won’t be able to travel to be with that part of my family, either, but I’m doing my best to keep them covered in prayer.

Snow is wise. There’s never a bad time to pray.

Some would say that prayer doesn’t always involve words. The Benedictine motto is ‘ora et labora’: ‘pray and work’. A popular mis-rendering of this, adopted by the Masons, is ‘laborare est orare’: ‘to work is to pray’. Perhaps working to help those in need is the highest form of prayer.
