I have a Cherokee friend whose daughter disappeared in the 1990’s. There wasn’t much mentioned then and it only appears on Facebook where the family posts about it
If this kind of thing were treated as a tragedy instead of a reality show (stay tuned for the next exciting installment!!), maybe we wouldn’t make such asses of ourselves on social media. This doesn’t do anything for those who are victims of a crime, it just feeds our egos that we are “doing something” about it by yelling while at the same time failing to do anything for the society in which such things happen. I do not mention White privilege here because that is why a given loss that happens is publicized instead of the number of other victims of similar crimes of other ethnicity.
I haven’t been following this because I don’t care. There must have been something salacious about it to get so much attention but people of all colors go missing all the time and you have to try real hard to get the authorities to care one iota about it. usually the only ones who care are friends and family.
I don’t really give a (very small value item) for “in the public eye” per se. But what DOES need changing is the social matrix that CAUSES this selective blindness. Yes, Virginia, there really are that many missing (and likely dead) people who are NOT photogenic and white. And we SHOULD care and we MUST do something to fix the system so they don’t even go missing (more than others do) much less what this ’toon is saying.
Hey that is your MSM you’re slamming. Maybe it’s about time for you to realize or admit that it’s all about the Benjamins. MSM caters to whatever makes them the most money.
What the hell about unsolved missing ANYONE!!!!! Why only minorities.Sorry, this cartoon stinks in my opinion.Sick and damn tired of cancel culture and political correctness.

It isn’t just minorities. It’s every one that’s “not important enough”.
