I prefer tea, but I need my pot of coffee in the morning. No, not to wake up. Mostly to stop hurting from withdrawal pains from not taking in any while sleeping. Caffeine doesn’t stimulate me anymore. It just owns my soul.

PSA: Sarah has made another strip that came out a few days ago and isn’t posted here for some reason. It’s on her website.

I can’t do coffee. The panel would show my brain beating me about the head and shoulders. And anyone else around me.

I am genuinely relieved to see you. As one who has been dealing with depression since high school (and therefore someone who greatly enjoys your perspective on this world) I was beginning to worry that something had happened to cause you to give up on the strip.

Really late to notice that, indeed, she is back. I’d actually stopped checking. I’d missed her little insights into human nature.

My morning coffee, consisting of two cups of hot black dark roast, and some “coffee butter” on a bagel, helped me to appreciate the discovery. I might have some iced tea with supper, but coffee in the morning is important.

This is why I’m a tea person. My personality is already exhausting without coffee.
