‘If you wait, it could be too late’: Family of doctor who died of suicide during pandemic pushes for new law
Dr Lorna Breen’s family are behind a new law that would provide mental health support for medical workers
During the worst days of the coronavirus pandemic in New York, in the early spring of 2020, Dr Lorna Breen described the scenes at the Manhattan hospital where she worked as being “like Armageddon.”
Our area hospitals’ ICUs are overflowing and the waiting rooms are jammed and ambulances sit in drive ways waiting for space to unload the freedom loving non vaxers. If I or anyone in my family, we are all vaccinated with 2 shots, had a medical emergency like appendicitis or a serious car accident, why would we not be triaged ahead of the willfully irresponsible? I just hope that I or any of mine don’t need emergency care until all the freedom lovers are dead. I could get irrational and probably violent.
At this point the folks who are fighting getting the vaccine need to be recognized for the intentional obstacles that they are. Biden needs to require that people who have not gotten the vaccine after (pick day X and list it here) are FORBIDDEN to get it.
The rest of us get to HAVE something and they aren’t ALLOWED to have it.
S2YB, That’s what morons think, intelligent people on the other hand…. not so much. Firstly they know, that, unlike trump, President Biden, isn’t suffering from dementia. He does deal with a slight speech impediment, unlike trump cultists who may have major brain impediments.
He’s in the wrong movie it should be “One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest” Of course he can still do it as “Joey Popups” Maybe his going to PopUp with another blunder any moment.
