I had been hoping that “the military” would refuse to follow orders that were merely insane, not otherwise obviously illegal. I guess Milley did, sort of.

Handcuffs and a gag would be ideal.

Some politicians — if allowed such “policy guns” at all — should have the barrels bent in right around in a “U” shape. They just might then think twice about shooting them off every chance they got. But I suspect there might be many self-inflicted wounds.

The shoot out at the OK Corral wherein the good guy Milley saves democracy from an early death right there on 5th Avenue.

Our political system seems to have morphed the concept of “public servant” into self-serving autocrat with a facade of “strong leader” … making military folks like Miley essential.

You notice that a lot of Qpublicans are screaming that Milley should be Court-martialed simply because he STOOD UP TO THE ORANGE MADMAN AND EXPOSED JUST HOW INSANE TWITLER IS!!! They HATE having someone show that The Emperor really HAS no clothes…or brains… or self-control…or maturity…

The Qpublicans were feeding 45 ammo as fast as they could. They’d have given him an automatic weapon but saner forces in the federal and state governments and society prevailed.

Wow, who ever knew that socialists would be applauding treason and illegal activity? Well, I guess we all did, but only if it is one they like, will they applaud it. All others will be prosecuted.

The top military brass had a front row seat to the insanity of Rump. They obviously knew how dangerous and unstable he was. Rump and his cult are only going to get worse. Remember that when 2024 comes around.

Trumpers call it an infringement of Trump’s 2nd Amendment rights, and that he had the executive privilege of starting a nuclear war with China for no reason other than he wanted to…

Gen. Milley was compelled to take these actions by the treachery of the Republicans in Congress.

Twice the former guy clearly committed acts for which he should have been removed from office. Right and good governing demanded that Republicans reject their demagogue and help us usher him from the public stage. Sadly, barely a handful heeded their nations call in this crisis. Fortunately, behind the scenes players were prepared do their best to fend off disaster.

The speaker of the House, Paul Ryan, was convinced that trump was mentally ill in 2016* and consulted experts on how to deal with him. That was years before the stress of trump losing the 2020 election. You have to wonder how unstable trump was that a decorated, career Army Officer sworn to protect the Nation was worried about him starting a war.

The truth is finally coming out.

Again, Mr. Bennett has billed down complex issue to one which is capable of being easily grasped. I do not understand how anyone could defend voting for Trump.
