Diet Smith has been awfully quiet since he first mentioned the Time Drone to the press. We know what he’s been up to. I wonder why Mr. Bribery and his sister, Ugly Christine have suddenly popped up on the monitors. He’s in jail and she’s dead, so I don’t think they’ll get involved in this.

He’s busy checking on what has happened in the Apparatus lately.

Tracy is on his nap time but shouldn’t he be looking for Blackjack’s collection?

Diet Smith will be very busy because of his time drone. Relatives of missing persons will come knocking on his door

You would think that being “Chief Detective Tracy” would at least get you a chair that fit!

Sam doesn’t seem bothered by the time drone, unlike the time years ago when he saw Smith’s first attempt at time travel. I wish I could remember when that was.

Beautiful lady in the first two frames and a cool image of Tracy in the third frame , I wonder how this is going to play out ?

I can’t parse the third panel. Is it means to be two pictures hanging in Tracy’s office?

Tracy ‘knows’ the time top is just a hoax Smith is perpetrating to try and discover the moles in his own research department and eliminate them before doing a valuable project. The two or three pictures that have been shown as ‘proof’ are faked. The difficulties in developing any time technology have been listed already.

It’s a shot in the dark, but I think maybe Smith might suspect that Lafayette Austin may be his other child with his ex-wife Irma. Austin bears a resemblance to them both, and given Smith’s concerns over his legacy discovering he has another son and a grandchild would be a dream come true for him.

All the historical searches would be not just for academic interest, but a a sort of smokescreen to keep them safe from any criminal moles who might use his newfound family against him.

Is Tracy wearing a black velvet suit? That’s what it looks like on my screen. That’s some Big Pimpin’! All he needs is a big feather in his hat band.

Hard to figure which is stranger; this meandering arc, or the comments section from alleged adults. Get jobs

I wonder if the Time Drone actually travels into the past or it is traveling to other realities where time passes at a slower rate; effectively the concept used in GURPS Infinite Worlds regarding “echos”. A similar idea was used in The Proteus Operation where early on something is clearly “off” about the “past” the travelers have gone to – namely events they had no hand in changing.

Ugly Christine? Is she Ugly Crystal’s mother?

Tracy’s at his desk with no paperwork to do? Then the next wave of reports are due anytime now.

Is Monday the actual anniversary date? Maybe we get something big then.

In Tracy land, they are coming down with a case of “memory lane”. Might be easier to get religion…everybody at MCU start getting “the holy ghost”.

One possible ending to this thing is The Apparatus self-destructing from ir failed attemptto capture the Time Drone.

Then Bribery(their chief rival) gets to pick up the pieces.

He has some “influence” even from jail;he’s ordered several “hits” from behind bars.
