Nope not going to say it.

Walking through the woods one day, I met a witch along the way, then tipped my hat and said hey hey.

I like the way she has it bass-ackwards, but it’s worth a shot.

She has nothing to lose but loss itself!

That’s a good idea. I wouldn’t want to start working for someone who was too cheap to give me a raise!

That’s the difference between you and her, Gaylord…she thinks outside the box!

Ironically, this is what’s going on now! Companies are offering high starting pay and sign-on bonuses, which is often more than their long-time loyal employees are receiving. So the new hires are earning more than the experienced workers. So they quit.

Like asking for benefits in a job interview.

When you have no income, just getting a job can be considered a raise.

Carrying out her weird plan, Broomie will find a lot of “such provincial minds” out there….
