That’s AWESOME … but I agree that the obscenely rich would find it horrible.

Wealth message aside, there will always be a few Dems who will undermine the general message of the party. Willing to do it to get the attention with enough distractions that feed the opposition with what they want. That is to get the middle to lean right. BTW, was that the event that had a costly ticket to attend?

The MSM helps willingly because the objective is eyeballs. They care as much about social conditions as the ratings will generate.

I’ve been always amazed about how humans look so different from one another as a species… just think about it!

A very small tax on the stock market would pay our entire defense bill.

You’ll often hear Republicans calling for a flat tax. Well, of course they do. The result of a flat tax would be a huge tax cut for the rich and a huge tax increase for the poor. The Republican wet dream.

The Turd Reich Traitor whiners are pissed off about her dress but never a word about the millions Rumpy the Clown and his brood scammed off of the donations they got. Millions and millions for a recount – how much actually made it to AZ? A dime? The millions in campaign funds. The millions and millions of tax payer money grifted to Mal de Lardo to house his security details while he golfed as the nation was overcome by a pandemic.

Oh yeah, so then they’d have been fine if she wore a dress with “I Don’t Really Care, Do U?” on it, right?

AOC missed an important opportunity here. I applaud the dress, but she should have worn a matching mask.

When Mitt Romney (remember him?) released his tax returns, it was no surprise to intelligent people that he paid a lower percentage of his income than those of us in the middle class. And, of course, Traitor Trump refused to release his tax returns for three reasons: (1) He didn’t have nearly as much money as he lied about having. (2) Because of loopholes (the result, always, of bribery—even if the loopholes existed before Traitor Trump ever made or took HIS first bribe), his percentage in taxes was very very low (in some cases zilch) on the money he did make. (3) That whole Putin thing.

The legendary political satirist Mark Russell once commented, “I don’t want to soak the rich, but couldn’t we at least moisten them a little bit?”
