A friend’s cat had a urine infection. The vet asked how often the cat used the litter box. Her answer was ‘Every time I go to the bathroom. Wish I knew the vet’s reply.

Absolutely every time.

One of hubby’s rescues is of the opinion I can’t be in the bathroom or laundry room without him. He “helps” me get ready for work as well.

Every cat’s job – to make sure their human has a bathroom companion/helper. :-)

I prefer the term consistent

For fifty years my cats and I have respected each other’s privacy re bathroom activities. However, when I adopted a senior cat this past February, I also acquired a constant escort. Apparently, word has gotten out that I’m old and can no longer be trusted to navigate the complexities of the bathroom on my own.

My cats are just as predictable. They trained us well.
