    Abbott, Death-Santis prove that they have the right to kill as many people as they can so as to prove to the Orange Orifice, who they adore, that they follow his death cult and hope to maintain power in his future ascendancy!

    The State has no rights. The citizens have the rights. They lend their power to government for specific powers the citizens grant them. In the end, it is the SOLE purpose of government to protect the natural rights.

    The tenth amendment to the Constitution says NOTHING about the “rights” of State governments, it speaks of the “powers” granted to those entities by the people.

    “10: The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people”.

    More instructive is the RIGHTS referred to by the 9th amendment in the Bill of Rights as being reserved to the people:

    “9. The enumeration in the Constitution, of certain rights, shall not be construed to deny or disparage others retained by the people.”

    Civics 101 has been replaced by Advanced Woke studies in our schools for decades. Thus the confusion.

    State’s ‘rights’ destroy unions, it helped to wipe out the Confederacy as states went their own way. The states are subordinate to the Federal Govt.

    I heard a lot of States’ Rights during the Trump administration, especially from blue states like California. They did a lot of things their way vs what Trump wanted (which wasn’t a bad idea).

    But you can’t have it both way – federal only when you are in power and States Rights when you are not. If it is fine for Cali, it’s fine for others.

    Now, not all actions are state-allowed (like Texas abortion) but others??
