Thank You to Every Single Fire Fighter that bailed me out of that nasty ass Caldor Fire. We have almost 60% containment today but also facing a Red Flag wind event. I had the big Tankers flying over the Ranch all day yesterday. Heroes All.

This is an illustration of “the really hard way to do it”. The better way is, however, both less expensive in the long run AND safer… so you can bet that the right wingers will continue to oppose it: *Cut greenhouse gas emissions. *

Oh, and yeah: Better forest (and other land) management policies, so when fires do start, they aren’t as likely to get ginormous.

I just don’t know how these amazing firefighters do it, day after day, heat beyond imagining while wearing 45 lbs of gear (I think 45 lbs, could be more?), daily tackling impossible odds. Thank you all for not giving up, for your service. Thank you for fighting the fight for neighbors you likely will never meet. Thank you.
