I’m experiencing a sad spiral now. It’s because of the season. I go through it every year at this time.
Depression drives out rational thought. When I am fighting the depression all my energy is gone and thought and memory become spotty at best.

When you are in the “thick of it” it’s difficult to think rational. Take a deep breath little bird, it will pass.
Of course this had to happen when said Spiral was written by Junji Itoh.
