That should get prompt payments. Speaking of loans, the underwriters in charge of my home equity loan sent me a notice Friday that they want even more paperwork. I’ve sent them everything but my kindergarten graduation certificate. ..wait, if they ask for that…..I’m gonna be 103 before the renovations get done. Sigh
Yesterday, I was told to put all of our houseplants on clearance. We have to get rid of them to make room for….are you ready for this? We have to make room because we set up our display Christmas trees next week.. Christmas lights also get set next week. I wish we could at least wait until we get through with Halloween before we start setting Christmas stuff.
Well, Ivy had her first visit to the vet under my care this morning. It was for her routine annual checkup and innoculations, so no worries. It all went well, she went into her carrier OK, and handled the trip in the truck as well as any cat normally does. She did moan a bit on the way there, but didn’t get too stressed out, so all good. It was her first trip out in a carrier with me, and the first time she’s been out of the house since she moved in back in June, the first time travelling in my truck, and the first time to this particular veterinary surgery, so firsts all the way! She had her jabs, the vet and veterinary assistants said she was cute and well behaved, and I’ve got a baseline for her weight. She’s just over her target weight, she should be 4.5kg (9lbs 15oz), but comes in at 5.1kg (11lbs 4oz).
Oh dear, better make that payment! (What do birds use for money, anyway? Hope the kitties don’t mind being paid in birdseed.) On another note, saw four robins, four rabbits, a chipmunk, and a dragonfly while out walking today.
