If the Republicans took the same view of 9/11 as they did the Jan. insurrection??

Those were just Saudi tourists wanting a closer look at the Twin Towers!!

Bush went to war vs. Iraq (and its non-existent WMDs) as retaliation for 9/11, which was perpetrated by Saudis.

He went to war vs. Afghanistan to find Osama bin Laden, who was hiding in Pakistan.

So, two wars, costing $4.5 trillion, against the wrong enemies.

    Dead American count: 9/11, 2996; Iraq, 4431; Afghanistan, 2325.

Bin Laden spent about a million dollars on his attacks, or $333 per dead American. Bush racked up more than double the US corpse count but at a cost of ~$4.5 trillion, or $666,000,000 per dead American. Bin Laden was clearly the better Republican, having gotten 2 million times more bang for his buck.

Of course, they’re both pikers compared to the brilliantly cost-effective Donald Trump, who managed to rack up his 650,000 dead Americans by not spending a penny to fight coronavirus.

What e=we should do is put all of those insurrectionists on work crews (heavily monitored) and put them to work fixing infrastructure.

" never mind" sounds just like the shrub’s " not concerned " (about bin laden) 6 months after promising America to get him dead or alive! A nasty- still unforgivable, unforgettable- insult to the victims’ families’ faces! https://www.latimes.com/archives/la-xpm-2004-oct-14-na-osama14-story.html

And he was rewarded with a 2nd term!

The Q’lephant is all about generating, magnifying and remembering fear, uncertainty and doubt among the voters. Because the party wonks know that leads to greater turnout among the gullible and those who feel dispossessed. Which is pretty much everyone who will still vote “Republican” these days.

Maybe that represents the odor from the feces they spread around. They should have been forced to clean up their filth. What a bunch of immature, ridiculous fools! Where was their “brave” leader? Safe in the White House! Cowardly!
