Just reverse the tax cuts for the rich, and, magically, the red ink will disappear!

Bet the GOP would find it if it were for tax cuts to the wealthy or some new Defense Department toy.

There’s a difference between giving $Trillions in tax cuts and incentives to billionaires and corporations, and investing in an infrastructure that has been neglected for decades, address future needs in the light of climate change and energy needs, and attempting to bring the US back to the forefront and able to compete on the world stage in the future. It doesn’t come free or cheap. The only thing cheap are the shots taken by the RW cartoonists, who appear that they would be as just as happy living on a cave and eating whatever was found dead if it meant “owning the libs”.

Who else are you going to issue tax cuts to? Hardly anyone else is PAYING taxes!! Are we supposed to issue tax cuts in people who don’t pay taxes?

Covid spreading Republicans created the sea of red ink by giving tax breaks to billionaires. They did this so they could destroy the social programs in the USA by claiming there is no money.

Anti Social Republican thieves do not want our tax dollars to go to or for the middle class who paid in the money in the first place.

By ending the Afghanistan occupation we are saving about 300 million dollars a day. I think we found the money to fix the infrastructure.

The wealthiest 1% have robbed the nation with $7 trillion in tax evasion over the last 10 years

How much money does this country throw away into the Defense Department? Have you any idea what a new jet fighter costs? Or a Navy submarine? Do we REALLY need all that killing crap?

Maybe actually read the bill before drawing such an inane strip, Mramirez. Also, please study some economic. theory about how government spending actually works.

If it was a massive tax cut to the donors of his party, then Ramirez would have been clapping!

Well, when Trump and the Repubs were rolling back taxes mostly for the wealthy they said, “What deficit?” Now that the Dems are helping all the nation get out of harms way, the Repubs are concerned for the deficit. Of course, the is the same way it usually is: Repubs break it, and raise the deficit, and Dems fix it, and get blamed for raising the deficit.

Take your choice. Either we collectively spend our resources on constructive programs to preserve our nation and our planet or we watch it die.

‘Trickle down’ tax cuts are more like trickle up (more like a flood) to the people who need it the least. We need a fair tax system, not a political donor support system.

D Cheney said “Reagan proved that deficits don’t matter.” He was wrong about that. Reagan, Bush 2 and Dchump were all wrong about massive revenue cuts somehow magically increasing fed revenue. All we got was a short term economic boost followed by huge a increase in national debt.

Yeah, worrying about potential inflation is so much more productive than preventing the climate calamities that we face now and will face in the future.

Considering that Democratic Spending pays for itself with a better economy, higher tax revenue and more prosperity, while Republican Spending benefits no one but those who don’t need any help from the government whatsoever, and just keep adding to the debt, there’s a hell of a difference, Comrade Ramirez.

It seems understanding how government spending works wasn’t a subject at Moscow Operative Spy School, since Ramirez has no idea what he’s blithering about.

The government gave away tax breaks, minimum wager were kept low, infrastructure maintenance was kept to as little as possible. Now the bill is due.
