For those who are puzzled by the garb of the downtrodden women depicted here, it’s imagery taken from the TV series The Handmaid’s Tale, based on the chilling dystopian novel by Margaret Atwood, in which American women have been Talibanized by religious fundamentalists (in the novel’s telling, ardent Christians rather than Muslims, but the same general idea).

I miss her too but still angry that she did not step down during the Obama years. The same with Feinstein here in Ca.
