Well we finally ended one of the wars GW Bush started needlessly.

As I have posted this on BADwyn’s cartoon today, let’s also not forget that 15 of the 19 hijackers were citizens of our “good friend/ally,” Saudi Arabia!!

We will forget, just like we have forgotten December, 1941. Or 1812, or other attacks, or January 6, 2021.

As those who were around on Dec. 7, 1941, I’ll never forget 9/11/2001. Unfortunately, though, it led to 2 unneccessary wars and hundreds of thousands dead in them.

Sleepy Joe forgot. Now the taliban is free to do it again, this time with our military equipment.

Yup.. America really showed how revenge works. Each one of those ~3000 casualties was “revenged” many many.. many times over.

It stayed beautiful for Boeing, Lockheed Martin, Raytheon, BAE Systems, Northrop Grumman, General Dynamics, and all the people that invested in them.

“NEVER FORGET” . . .No, I’ll never forget how Trump bragged that his Trump Tower was now the tallest building and how he claimed he rushed to help look for survivors with the fireman. Others may have forgotten, not me. Maybe Fox News forgot.

Hey, I have an idea. Let’s politicize the crap out of 9/11 rather than honor those who lost their lives! Whaddaya say, gang?!

I remember that morning, driving to my unit, by evening I was at ground zero.

And now, the smoke filled skies obscure the view

I realized 2002 that we often have sunny skies around Sept 11th. in the Northeast USA. Not always. but quite often.

No, please forget that the Terrorists won that day. Instead, remember the time that came afterwards, when the entire world was on our side, when the greatest acts of individual bravery, love, selflessness and community were the entire news of the day — when we were at our greatest in our entire history, and everyone was keeping our backs.

But also never forget that we allowed that goodwill, that international love and respect, that mandate to do something good in the world to let a childish little man-child lie us into an illegal invasion and occupation of a sovereign nation unilaterally and threw far too many American and Ally lives to the thresher for the past 20 years, all so Dubya could try, and fail, to get revenge on the Taliban for spanking his Bush-Daddy so badly when he was fake-president.

Sad that there are those on the left who can’t let go of their hatred for their fellow Americans and feel the need to post words of division and disrespect when at least on this day we should be united. Very sad only.
