How is she preparing the cauliflower: riced, mashed, or maybe even steamed with a cheese sauce?

Cauliflower is boring. No flavor, it gets stuck in my teeth and the texture is disgusting.

Cauliflower is good raw, with a dip. I hate it if it’s cooked.

I have had good cauliflower, but it’s easy to mess it up. Sort of like Brussels sprouts. But Broccoli — raw, steamed, baked, stir-fried, or as an ingredient in, say, an omelet — is always good. And amazingly good for you.

It’s a vegetable you have to do something with to make it palatable because standing alone it’s rather bland. Ok in a salad I guess with dressing on it…..

When I was a kid, I sat up late one night with an older cousin watching Outer Limits; when the space-alien psycho-killer was finally revealed, his head looked like cauliflower. That was well over half a century ago, and still can’t eat that stuff! (Except in giardiniera, and there you can’t notice it.)
