Somehow, I would really wish the author understood this is Suicide Prevention Month and that this is not funny. But what really bothers me is OldPine52’s comments. This is just wrong.

This leaves me with Conflicted Emotions. On the one hand, Leopold is so evil that I’d like to say, “Do it Evil Creature! Hang yourself!” But on the other hand Leopold is a fundamental contributor to the humor of this strip, and I can’t be so heartless as he would be, so I’ve got to say, “Rescue him, Gary!” Even if he hasn’t treated you fairly….

I’m not sure what Leopold is upset about. He has the portal to Hell in the basement, a nice selection of suburbanites for his various appetites, and Gary to ridicule. Plus that tall woman’s sister. [wink wink]
