Maybe if employers offered a living wage for full time employment with full benefits then they would be able to find people eager to work for them!

Who knew that people prefer to work for wages that are more than barely subsistence living? Who knew that people want living wages and to not be treated like peons?

And who knew that women don’t want to be treated like slaves by the Texas Taliban Turd Reich?

Who knew that all of this is about Americans standing up for their rights?

It took a depression years ago to make folk realize they could make do with less.. But that generation is now gone, and now it took the COVID to teach us the same lesson. At the moment, life is too short to spend every waking moment working for peanuts. It will take a few years before we are back to wanting all the toys and willing to work 3 jobs to get them.

If one’s business plan relies upon taking advantage of it labor force, one should not be surprised when the labor force realizes it has better options…

People have found out they can’t live on minimum wage, or even the wage touted to be the new minimum wage $15. Just judging by car prices, $25 an hour should be the minimum wage and the middle class should be making at least $60 an hour to keep up with inflation. Rising wages don’t cause inflation. Inflation causes wages to rise.
