Perhaps he is saying something more along the lines of “I NEED to go outside for a bit.”?

No argument there. I’m not even sure it’s a dog.

My dog acts like that about an hour before it’s meal time. I point at my watch and say, “it’s not time yet” then she goes and pouts for about ten minutes before she comes back and tries it again. This goes on for the whole hour….twice a day….. every…. single…. day.

My cats will start clawing at my leg, and sitting by their food cupboard about … an hour before hand. Thrice daily. I swear I have full on conversations, explaining that they have to wait. They ‘glare’ at me, and plot my death.

If a dog year is worth ~7 of ours.. makes sense they want to eat early as well

What I got from this comic is that what is really weird is that she’s having a conversation with Dogzilla…

I used to talk to “our” dogs all the time, even the deaf one we had. Sometimes they would respond not to words but the “emotion” or inflection behind it. I miss them, all 3 died within the last year as did my wife and MIL and a friend of mine not a good year.

It’s always time to eat, for a dog.
