He’s having a bad “HARE DAY” …

Attack of the 50-foot bunny, or is that attack of the 50-something +, bunnies ?

After all, they do breed like, well, um … rabbits ?

That, or he took a wrong turn at Albuquerque!

Guy it lettuce outfit must work at a green grocer, attracting new customers (like someone working at a fast food restaurant would wear an outfit that looks like the restaurant’s mascot).

Good thing it wasn’t a carrot suit.

As the ol’ beatles song goes … “Lettuce be, oh lettuce be, oh lettuce be, spreading lots of rabbits, lettuce be”.

Would the next bit of dialogue be, “Lettuce prey”?

Lady Gaga should count her blessings that she went with a meat dress instead of a lettuce one.

Aaand then, on fourth frame: Garfield looks over his shoulder: “Jooon?” :D

I haven’t seen that movie Garfield’s watching, but I did see The Curse of the Were-Rabbit.

and here, I thought only Jon wore that kind of “suit”.

Reminds me of the Mary Tyler Moore show when Chuckles the Clown was killed by an elephant while dressed as a peanut.

I guess that guy now hates Mondays as much as Garfield does.

Lettuce pray for his recovery. It was a hare-y experience, for sure.

This is also a little bit like the comic strip where Jon and Garfield watched a news report on TV about a crazed hamster rampaging throughout town and that citizens have been advised against filling their pockets with lettuce and lying in tall grass, which Jon was disappointed to hear, since that implies that that’s what he was gonna do during the weekend. Talk about a real weenie.

There was a real movie, “Night of the Lepus” that was about giant killer rabbits. It did not go over very well, at least with the particular type of rabbit they used, they were just too cute.

That rabbit’s dynamite!
