Russia (Soviet Union) left in disgrace after years of fighting. So did Great Britain years before. U.S. politicians should have read its history before going along with GW.
On religious grounds they will be reluctant to have China occupy, but that may be their choice. Much as they loved using Russia for weapons and such, I don’t think they are anxious to be occupied by Russia again.
We left. We had to. The cards are falling where they will. Who thought differently? The Dutch also have pulled out their forces. Look up how many other nations have done so. Is it Uncle Sugar’s job to prop up unsustainable regimes everywhere? Not anymore, anyway.
The Russian’s have already had a bad taste in their mouths with Afghanastan. Let China try their crap with them. I’m glad we’ve finally left. Let the tribes slug it out amongst themselves. Humans are not generally peaceful, sad to say.

When so many people complain about living in America, they should move to one of these countries and see WHAT RIGHTS YOU HAVE THERE!
