The long waits for specialized medical care seem to be a problem in Denmark, where this panel originates, and probably more countries where everyone gets free care—like Canada—but has to wait for months while their condition gets worse. Here in the States you can see a doctor right away, but it’ll empty your bank account. I understand wealthy Canadians often seek help here rather than bide their time up north.
