Lets not forget where those jobless benefits come from straight out of everyone’s paychecks.

Interestingly, a report just came out showing that the places where unemployment benefits were maintained have a better employment rate while those that cut benefits showed higher unemployment.

Why pick on the little guys when corporate welfare, tax exemptions, subsidies, etc. are far greater.

The largest item on the federal budget is interest payments.

May you, Teitelbaums, reap the the benefits of being unemployed soon, and for a long time.

The R’s had no problem giving $1.9 Trillion in tax breaks, giveaways, and carve outs to rich corporations who tend to not pay taxes anyway, and the top 10% of earners. But give $300 a week to people who are unemployed through no fault of their own and you would think the end was near. Giving tax breaks to families with young children actually does bring benefits to everyone, small businesses, local shops, especially poor communities.
