Trump bragged at a recent rally that he and Pompeo engineered the Afghani withdrawal in such a way that it couldn’t be stopped or substantially changed OR terminated.
Biden came under extensive criticism for extending it as long as he did.
Granted, Biden substantially AGREED with the Trump withdrawal but never forget it WAS the Trump and Pompeo planned withdrawal and Biden couldn’t change it if he’d wanted to – according to little Donnie J.
