On a serious note sometimes i think the art of conversation has been lost in this generation.

Spouse tends to drive me out of the room by turning on the TV. Tuned to something that is annoying (about 99% of all TV, seems like). And turned loud so she can hear it. Even the freakin’ golf channel is too loud now what with a roar of In the HOLE with pretty much every drive. (sigh).

Granddad, how come you have hair growing out of your ears?

Sometimes there is only so much time that you can spend with each other before the joy is gone (or at least fades away).
